Sponsorship Proposal: Wynne Tournaments promotes tennis tournaments for recreational women players at premier resorts throughout the United States. We are currently sponsored by eleven USTA Sections (390,000 players), the PTR (7,500 teaching pros), Tennis Week Magazine (530,276 monthly readership/450,000 Web visitors). Through their combined sponsorship and our extensive marketing campaign, we will reach more than 1.4 million tennis players. Our target market (affluent, active women…ages 30-59) is the major decision maker and purchaser of consumer goods in the majority of households in the United States. We can offer your company a unique opportunity to be a part of our elaborate marketing campaign via our sponsors, advertising and the many national events targeted to recreational women tennis players at premier resorts throughout the United States. USA League Tennis (a USTA program) is at the height of its popularity. Tens of thousands of women participate in the program on an annual basis. The ultimate goal of the league participants is to be the champion team of their USTA Section and participate in the national tournament at a resort setting. Unfortunately, only a few hundred women are allowed the opportunity to participate in the national tournament. The tennis world is so excited with the format of Wynne Tournaments – now, everyone, regardless of winning any play-offs, can participate in a fun, national tournament at a premier tennis resort.
